Project 10
This site is aimed at helping young people identify their sexual orientation and at helping gays, lesbians and bisexuals through psychosocial crises. Sections include F.A.Q. Glossary, and Misconceptions.

Egale
The Egale site promotes equality and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people, as well as their families, throughout Canada. The site has an Issue section dealing with a variety of topical issues, such as equal marriage (http://www.equal-marriage.ca/), youth and education, human rights, hate crimes and hate propaganda, and homophobia.

Canadians for Equal Marriage
This is the site of a national campaign for same-sex marriage. It lists press releases and current news items. At the bottom of the home page, you will find a Resource section, with an Information Resources link. Clicking on this link brings up recent news and background information on same-sex marriage.

AlterHéros
The mission of AlterHéros is to facilitate the social integration of gay, bisexual and transgender people. Sections on this web site include Youth Zone, Parents and Family, as well as Teachers and Youth Workers. These provide sections on topical issues as well as a My Story section. There is also an Ask the Experts section where questions may be directed to a team of experts made up of sexologists, psychologists, social workers, nurses and physicians. The web site also has a Discussion Forum and a Mutual-Aid Network with links to additional resources.

Gay Line
This is a helpline for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. The site includes Community Links to other gay organizations and helplines.

Medline Plus (gay and lesbian health)
This web site is aimed for gay and lesbian children, teenagers, men and women, containing information on the latest news, prevention/screening, related issues, organizations, and statistics.

National Day Against Homophobia
This Web site contains information about projects and realisations pertaining to homophobia. The sections of the web site are National day, activities, fight against homophobia award, tools (education material), surveys, and much more.

Amnesty International
This site deals with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues and rights, including actions worldwide.

Safe Spaces, Moncton, N.B.
The Safe Spaces project is aimed at breaking isolation and helping young gays, lesbians and bisexuals accept their sexual orientation in a safe environment. The site includes sections entitled Library, Favorite Websites, as well as Facts and Figures.

Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN)
This American site promotes respect and acceptance of all people, regardless of sexual orientation. It includes a section for students and a link to library resources and news.

National Coalition of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth
This U.S. site includes coming-out stories, as well as online brochures for information on sexual orientation.

2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations
2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations is a non-profit social services organization whose membership consist of Aboriginal gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in Toronto. You will find a study entitled Addressing Homophobia in Relation to HIV/AIDS in Aboriginal Communities, also Voices of Two-Spirited Men - A Survey of Aboriginal Two-Spirited Men across Canada. You will also find descriptions of projects, Two-spirit links and other resources in the Home page.

Two-Spirited Youth Program
The TSYP has been in operation since July 1999, specifically designed to focus on "intergenerational" impacts, as referenced in the Aboriginal Healing Foundation's mission "to encourage and support Aboriginal people in building and reinforcing sustainable healing processes that address the legacy of physical and sexual abuse in the residential school system, including intergenerational impacts."

Two spirit circle of Edmonton society
Two spirit circle of Edmonton society aim to repatriate and enhance their traditional roles and responsibilities as two spirit people in Indigenous communities while creating supportive environments within all societies for contemporary two spirit peoples. The Website describes the different projects of the Two spirit circle of Edmonton society. You will also find links to other Two-spirit groups and other resources.

Out North - Yellowknife's Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Trans-gendered and Two-Spirited Community Association
Out North is a non-profit group that exists for the following purposes: To advocate equality for the GLBT community; To provide social and sporting events; To educate their members and the community of Yellowknife. The Issues section provides information about the various issues GLBT face today. You will find suggestions of books, videos and links in the Resources section.

Project Interaction (McGill University, Montreal)
Located in the McGill School of Social Work, Projet/Project Interaction is committed to the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and two-spirited people (glbt-s), people, their families, communities and allies. To this end, the Projet/Project is engaged in a collaborative effort to transform the design and delivery of social services and to contribute to the elimination of oppression. In doing so, Projet/Project Interaction strives to recognize, affirm and address the linguistic, cultural and gender diversity and interaction of glbt-s people in and around Montreal. Egale Canada : 2Spirit-Colour E-mail Discussion List
Egale invites all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersex, two-spirited and queer people, including those with fluid gender and sexual identities, who also identify as two-spirited or as people of colour, to join this newly-created e-mail discussion list.

PFLAG
PFLAG Canada is a registered charitable organization that provides support, education and resources to parents, families and individuals who have questions or concerns about sexual orientation or gender identity. If you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, two-spirit, intersex, queer or questioning, or if you care about someone who is, our compassionate volunteers are ready to help. You will find resources for two-spirit people in the section Helpful links - two-spirit.

NativeOUT
NativeOUT is a grassroots Native American Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Two-Spirit (LGBTTS) organization. Its vision is to build, unify, strengthen, and empower the Native American Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Two-Spirit community. The Be In The Know section provides information on the following areas: Two-Spirit Artists and Artwork; Two-Spirit Entertainers; Two-Spirit Writings; Coming OUT / Identity Development; Native LGBT Wellness. Also, you can watch documentaries or listen to audio files on GLBT Native Americans/Two-Spirits in the Media Center section. The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD)
The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate and inclusive representation of people and events in the media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation. You will find a section for the LGBT Native American Community in the POC media program section.
